On Wednesday, April 22nd, Earth Systems is exhibiting at the APWA (Southern California Chapter) 16th Annual Complete Streets & Technology Conference.
“Complete Streets” is a transportation policy and design approach. It requires streets to be planned, designed, and operated to enable safe, convenient travel for the public. They are designed and maintained to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit riders. Complete Streets are unique projects that respond to its community context and take into account all potential users. They are designed to balance safety and convenience for all participants using the road.
The APWA Annual Complete Streets & Technology Conference offers a chance to get together with public work officials and other engineers to better understand the latest developments in public infrastructure as it relates to capital improvements, design, operations, etc. Topics covered at this year’s conference include:
- Mobil Computer Applications
- Pavement Management Advances
- Green Streets and Water Quality
- Sustainable Streetscapes
